Buncombe County hosts Resources for Recovery events

The final event in the series will be held at Owen High School in Black Mountain. That event takes place on March 3 from 5-7pm.

Do you need help managing your recovery from Helene?

Buncombe County and its partners (see list below) are hosting a series of recovery resource events. You’re invited to drop in anytime during these events to ask questions, apply for assistance, and learn more about available support.

Keep in mind that Helene survivors have until March 8, 2025 to apply for assistance with the Federal Emergency Management Agency. FEMA assistance may include funds for temporary housing such as rental assistance or reimbursement for hotel costs; funds to support the repair or replacement of a primary home, including privately-owned access routes; and funds for disaster-caused expenses. If you have questions about this process, you are welcome to ask them at any Resources for Recovery event.
