Black Mountain residents asked to complete property damage survey

The Buncombe County Emergency Management Agency is seeking assistance from the public to document damage resulting from the Hurricane Helene severe weather event.

This important information will be used to assist in reporting the consolidated impact from Helene and will be provided to other state and federal agencies as they assess the long-term scope of the damage.

All Buncombe County residents, including residents of Black Mountain, are encouraged to report their storm-related damage via the County’s Property Damage form, which can be found online. Please include photos of damage if you are able.

If you need help completing the form or if you have questions, call the One Buncombe Call Center at 828-250-6100.
