Town of Black Mountain suspends building permit fees through June 2025

Property owners seeking to rebuild on their property in Black Mountain will not have to pay any permitting fees to do so. The Town of Black Mountain has suspended all permitting FEES through June 30, 2025. The permitting process and fee waiver applies to:

• Residential

• Commercial

• Trade

• Land disturbance

• Floodplain

Although fees are waived through the end of June 2025, property owners must still apply for and get the necessary building permit(s) and required inspections.
